  • Access Routes: From El-Kharga, it is about 150 km along the Darb el-Ghubari desert track, passing through impressive dunes. From Farafra in the north, it’s about 230 km.
  • Population: Despite its size being smaller than the Kharga Oasis, Dakhla boasts the highest population in the Wadi el-Gedid region.
