About The Crystal Mountain

When traveling to Bahariya from Farafra, you should stop over at Crystal Mountain (Gebel el-Izaz). It is roughly 25 kilometers away from the main road, which leads to Bahariya. Crystal Mountain is a small mountain comprised of mostly quartz crystal. It also offers astonishing views of the desert once you get to the top of the mountain.
