Comfortable Footwear: You’ll be doing a fair amount of walking, so it’s recommended to wear comfortable shoes for exploring the pyramids, museums, and markets.
Dress Modestly: As you’re visiting historical and religious sites, it is advisable to dress modestly. For women, covering the shoulders and knees is recommended.
Bring Sunscreen & Hat: Cairo can be hot, especially during the summer months, so don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect yourself from the sun.
Camera: Make sure to bring your camera to capture the incredible sights! Photography is allowed in most areas, though there may be restrictions in some parts of the Egyptian Museum.
Cash: It’s a good idea to have some local currency (Egyptian Pounds) for small purchases, tips, or souvenirs in markets like Khan El-Khalili.
