Itinerary
Day 01: Welcome to Cairo
Welcome to Egypt land of discovery, upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport you will be met by our warm and professional airport representatives who will arrange your ground transportation to the hotel where you will spend the remainder of your evening.
Day 02: Giza Pyramids, Memphis and Saqqara
Wake up to a warm Egyptian breakfast for a day of exploration and discovery, as you tour the Great Pyramids of Giza and step inside the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure popularly referred to as the second and third pyramids. Enjoy a scenic drive to Cairo where you will discover the open air museum at Memphis and the step pyramids of Saqqara. Then return to the hotel for dinner where you will spend the night.

Day 03: Temple of Alexander the Great, Ain el Muftalla Temple, Amenhotep Tomb, Tombs of merchants Bannentiu and Djet Amun
Start your day off with a delectable breakfast and enjoy a scenic drive to Bahariya Oasis. The smallest of 4 Oasis depressions in Egypt, Bahariya is home to amazing ruins such as the Temple of Alexander the Great, Ptolemaic tombs, old churches and recently discovered golden mummies. Check into El Beyt Hotel and continue your exploration of Baharia. Visit amazing sites such as the Temple of Alexander the Great, Ain el Muftilla Temple, The Tomb of Amenhotep, The tombs of merchants Bannentiu and Djet Amun Lufankha. Then return to the hotel for dinner where you will spend the night.

Day 04: Crystal Mountain, Agabat, Roman Springs and Flower Desert
Take a breathtaking drive to the incredible the Black and the White Desert outside Baharia, hop into a four wheel drive for a memorable adventure. Capture on film the black volcanic hills that give the desert its name. Be amazed by the landscape and color of the white desert as the white “sand” looks like snow transforming the landscape to one that resembles the Arctic. Explore the Crystal Mountain, Agabat, Roman springs and Flower desert for an unforgettable experience. Enjoy a special lunch box then spend the remainder of the day at your leisure and overnight at the desert camp site.

Day 05: Qasr Dakhla, Beshendi and Deir al Haggar
Enjoy breakfast at the camp site then continue exploring the amazing desert landscape, drive to El Dakhla a small beautiful settlement with groves of olives, oranges, and dates as well as ancient ruins. Enjoy a delectable lunch at a local restaurant and explore the fortified town of Qasr Dakhla. A uniquely designed city, with narrow streets and gateways that can be closed off at nights to protect it from attacks. Visit Beshendi and Deir al Haggar Temple translated to English as “Monastery of Stone”. This sandstone temple boasts grand gateways, high columns, wide porches, and chambers. Then check into the hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 06: Cemetry of Bagawat, Hibis Temple and Kharga Museum
Your desert safari continues to the El Kharga Oasis, the largest Oasis in the Libyan Desert. Visit what may be the oldest Christian Cemetery of Bagawat. The 263 tomb-chapel consists of domed mud brick mausoleums, underground galleries, chapels, columns, arches and a domed roof. Enjoy lunch and continue your exploration to the Hibis Temple believed to be built by the Persian ruler Darius I for the fertility god Amun. The Hibis Temple contains many religious symbols, emblems, and writings. There is an avenue of Sphinxes, court yard, pavilion, sanctuaries plus beautiful reliefs on the outer walls of Darius greeting Egyptian gods. Stop by the New Museum of the Oases to learn more about the history and beauty of the region. Enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 07: Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple
Enjoy breakfast before driving to Luxor to embark on the Nile Cruise, enjoy a sumptuous lunch on board then visit the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples. Be blown away by the grandeur of the Karnak Temple complex the largest of its kind in all of Egypt. Then enjoy an evening of fine dining on board and an exciting belly dance show. Spend the night in Luxor on.

Day 08: Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon
Visit the Valley of Kings which is a massive burial ground for Pharaohs, kings and the elite. Explore the tombs of world famous Pharaohs from the Old Kingdom. Visit the temples of Tutankhamun more popularly called King Tut, Hatshepsut Temple and learn about the first female Pharaoh. Then visit the Colossi of Memnon two huge statues around 17m high that guarded the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Then sail to Edfu while you enjoy a Captain’s Welcome cocktail, just relax and enjoy the amenities on board the Nile Cruise where you will spend the night.

Day 09: Edfu Temple and Kom-Ombo Temple
Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu and discover the best-preserved temple in all Egypt, traditional in its design Edfu is a blue print of how all temples looked. Then set sail to Kom Ombo and stop by the unique Temple of Kom-Ombo which is actually two temples built in one with separate entrances. Enjoy dinner on board the cruise and a Galabeya Party to climax the evening. Here you will overnight in the Nile Cruise.

Day 10: High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk, Philae Temple and Felucca sailing
Then sail to Aswan and be amazed by the breath taking experience at the High Dam. Here you will see a view like no other a top the 364ft tall structure. Stop by the Unfinished Obelisk whose construction was abandoned by Queen Hatshepsut and take a motor boat ride to Philae Temple. Philae Temple was dedicated to the goddess Isis with its many shrines and sanctuaries. Enjoy lunch on board the Nile Cruise then enjoy a calm and relaxing ride on a Felucca, a traditional Egyptian sail boat around Kitchener’s Island & Agha Khan Mausoleum. Enjoy dinner and a Nubian Folkloric show on board and overnight in Aswan on the Nile Cruise.

Day 11: Abu Simble Temples
Fly to Abu Simble and visit the Abu Simble, tour the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples carved out of solid rock. Enjoy an amazing tour that will transport you back in time when Ramses ruled Egypt Enjoy a Nubian lunch then fly back to Cairo and check into the hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 12: Egyptian Museum, Khan El Khalili and Saladin Citadel
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and tour of the awe-inspiring Cairo Egyptian Museum, famous for the Golden Mask of King Tutankhamun and many other special treasures. Then stop by the Khan EL Khalili a large outdoor market and the Saladin Citadel. The Citadel is a magnificent structure that has acted as a fortress for Cairo against enemy attack. Within its walls, you will find the Mohamed Ali Mosque, the Mosque of Suleiman and a number of museums dedicated various aspects of Egyptian history. Then enjoy dinner at the Hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 13: Departure from Cairo International Airport
Enjoy the morning’s breakfast then drive to Cairo airport for your return flight. If you have a late departure let us know as special arrangements can be made for you.
