Day 01: Welcome to Cairo International Airport
Welcome to Egypt land of mystery, upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport you will be met by our warm and professional airport representatives who will arrange your ground transportation to the hotel where you will have your dinner and overnight. for more information please view the hotel grade section

Day 02: Giza Pyramids, Camel ride, Solar Boat Museum, Memphis and Saqqara
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and continue your exploration of Egypt visit the Great Giza Pyramids. Step back in time as you tour the Cheops the largest and oldest of the Giza Pyramids with Camel ride then discover the Solar Boat Museum. Enjoy a mixed grill lunch and stop by the open-air museum at Memphis and marvel at the massive statues carved out of limestone and granite of Egyptian gods and pharaohs. Then stop by Saqqara famous for its step pyramids and history of building the first pyramids in all of Egypt. While there visit the Pyramids of King Zoser, Titi and others and the many tombs of kings and great officials. Then enjoy fine dining at the hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 03: Ancient Ruins of Farma, ancient Philippos, Saint George Church
Enjoy your breakfast before departing with your guide to start tracing the footsteps of the Holy Family in Egypt. First, we take you to where no other operator in Egypt takes you as we start with the ruins of an ancient Church at Farma which is actually the first place where the Holy Family stopped by when they first entered Egypt. Later on, we drive back to north-east of Cairo heading to the small town of Bubastis which is now known as Tel- Basta where is well known as the town where Jesus gushed forth a spring of water to drink, we will visit the holy well, then we move to the town of Belbeis -ancient Philippos-. Here the Holy Family rested there in the shade of a tree which is later people called, "The Virgin Mary's Tree' where now we can see the Saint George Church, which we will visit and then drive back to Cairo. Afterward, we go back to our hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 04: Virgin Mary Church & Saint Abanoub Church
Wake up to a warm breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, then we start our drive for almost 130 KM North of Cairo till we reach to Sakha - a small town - in the heart of Nile Delta. Sakha was famous for its large Christian community in the Middle Ages. In this town, we will enjoy visiting the remarkable Virgin Mary Church where we can see the footprint of Jesus Christ. Later on, we move to the town of Samanoud where the holy family was very warmly welcomed by its people. Here we will visit Saint Abanoub Church. This afternoon we stop by Tanta for lunch then drive back to our hotel in Cairo for dinner and overnight.

Day 05: Wadi Natroun "Deir El-Suryani, Abu Makar Monastery, Deir Anba Bishoy, Deir al-Paramus"
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before starting another wonderful day of exploration in Egypt. This morning we drive to almost 100 KM to the north of Cairo through Cairo - Alexandria desert high way to one of the most famous valleys in Egypt Wadi El Natroun which is known for being blessed by the Christ. Nowadays, Coptics community in Egypt is looking to this place as the home of asceticism and worship, with four monasteries still existing today. In this spiritual place, generally, you will learn from your guide a lot about Christianity in Egypt with a special focus on the Holy Family visit to this area.

Day 06: Old Cairo, Mostorod & Matariya
Relish yourself with a splendid breakfast before jumping to your bus heading to the most important complex of Coptic treasures in Cairo - Old Cairo -. We start by, St. Sergius then the amazing Hanging Church and, the remains of Fortress of Babylon. End your visit here with a stop at Church of St. George.
After lunch, we move to Mostorod where we enjoy visiting the Virgin Mary Church, then end our day at Holly Mary tree at Matariya, a well-attested resting place of the Holy Family and a popular destination among pilgrims. Dinner and Overnight stay in Cairo

Day 07: From Maadi to El Minya
Wake up to a warm Egyptian breakfast before leaving to enjoy tracing the footsteps of the Holy Family to Upper Egypt. After their short stay in Old Cairo, the Holy Family started their trip to the southern part of the country from some modern Cairo suburb named Maadi "in fact, the name Maadi derives from the Arabic word which means -the crossing point-". In a nutshell, The Holy Family boarded a sailing-boat which carried them up the Nile towards southern Egypt at Maadi where the church of Holy Virgin Mary now lies.
The stone steps leading down to the River's bank, and believed to have been used by the Holy Family are accessible to pilgrims through the Church courtyard. Later on, we move south to the city of Al Minya where we visit a church that hewn out of the cliff beside the river at Gabal Al-Teir. By the end of the tour, we go to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 08: The White Monastery, the Monastery of Al Muharraq and Dendera Temple
After having your breakfast at your hotel we start our day tour which will take us to final stops the Holy Family had in their trip to Egypt. First, we stop by The White Monastery, which was built in 400 AD by St. Shenouda. Most of the blocks used in building this monastery were taken from ancient Egyptian buildings like the columns of the basilica church lies inside the monastery.
The paintings on the walls and ceilings of this basilica are among the best in all remaining Coptic treasures.
We keep going south till we reach the city of Assiut where we visit one of the most spiritual places in Egypt, the Monastery of Al Muharraq. It is well known that the Holy Family remained over 6 months in Egypt and exactly here, our tracing to the Holy family route comes to an end.
We keep going south to the city of Dendera where we visit the Temple of Hathor. Hathor is the god of love and in this temple, she gave birth to the son of the god Horus. It is one of the finest Greco-Roman temples in Egypt. Afterward, we move to our hotel in Luxor where we have dinner and overnight.

Day 09: Welcome to Luxor, discover Karnak and Luxor Temples
Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel before checking out and start touring the Luxor East Bank. Our visit includes the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples. First, we tour the breathtaking Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex built by the man covering approximately 200 acres with individual temples built for various gods. It is a massive complex of columns, statues, halls, and courts which tell a story of its former grandeur and splendor and later visit the Luxor temple for with a horse carriage. By the end of the tour, we go to check in our luxurious Nile Cruise which will be our home for the next 4 days. Enjoy your lunch then enjoy your time your way till dinner. Spend the night on board.

Day 10: Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and Colossi of Memnon
Disembark the Nile Cruise to visit the Valley of the Kings which is a massive burial ground for Pharaohs, kings and the elite. Visit Hatshepsut Temple and learn about the first female Pharaoh. Then visit the Colossi of Memnon two huge statues around 17m high that guarded the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Enjoy lunch on board the Nile cruise and spend the night on board the Nile Cruise.

Day 11: Edfu Temple by Horse-Carriage and Kom-Ombo Temple
Visit the Temple of Edfu said to be the best-preserved temple in Egypt and only second to Karnak in its grandeur. Enjoy lunch on board the Nile cruise then tour the Temple of Kom Ombo which is actually two temples built in one. With one side dedicated to the crocodile god and the other to Falcon head god. Then go sailing around Kitchener Island with Felucca. Board the Nile Cruise for dinner and spend the remainder of the evening.

Day 12: Philae Temple, High Dam and Unfinished Obelisk
After having breakfast on the Nile cruise before disembarking for your last tour of Aswan, tour the Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis with its many shrines and sanctuaries. Then visit the amazing High Dam for a panoramic view from atop the 364ft tall structure and finally stop by the Unfinished Obelisk.

Day 13: Abu Simble Temples
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast before disembarking the ship and drive to Abu Simble, tour the magnificent Abu Simble Temples carved out of solid rock. Drive back to Aswan, then enjoy a sumptuous lunch at a local restaurant. Later on, drive to the Aswan International Airport for your return flight to Cairo. Spend the remainder of the day at your own leisure. Have your dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 14: Egyptian Museum, Citadel and Khan El Khalili
Enjoy breakfast and continue your exploration of Egypt by visiting the awesome Cairo Egyptian Museum, famous for the Golden Mask of King Tutankhamun and its many other treasures. Tour the Citadel a magnificent structure that has acted as a fortress for Cairo against enemy attack. Enjoy an Oriental lunch then explore the Sultan Hassan Mosque one of the largest and opulent in Egypt. Be amazed by the grandeur of the design and décor of the impressively stunning structure said to have emptied the Mamluk Treasury. Then go shopping at the Khan El Khalili a local marketplace. Return to the hotel for dinner and spend the remainder of the evening.

Day 15: Departure from Cairo International Airport
Enjoy the morning’s breakfast at the hotel before your drive to Cairo International airport for your return flight. If you have a late departure let us know as special arrangements can be made for you.
