Itinerary
Day 01: Welcome to Cairo
Welcome to Egypt land of discovery, upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport you will be met by our courteous and professional airport representatives who will arrange your ground transportation to your hotel where you will spend the night. for more information please view the hotel grade section
Day 02: Giza Pyramids, Memphis and Saqqara
Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel for a day of exploration and discovery; tour one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World, the Great Pyramids of Giza standing at an unbelievable 481ft or 146.5m tall. Tour the Great Sphinx of Giza as well standing 65ft or 20m tall. Enjoy a mixed grill lunch then visit the open air museum at Memphis and marvel at the massive statues carved out of limestone and granite of Egyptian gods and pharaohs. Then stop by Saqqara famous for its step pyramids and history of building the first pyramids in all of Egypt. Then return to the hotel for dinner and spend the remainder of the evening.

Day 03: Pyramid Mountain, English Mountain, Ancient Village and Ethnic Museum
Enjoy a delectable breakfast at the hotel then enjoy the beautiful Egyptian countryside on a four-hour drive the Bahariya Oasis. The smallest of four oasis depressions in the Western Desert, Bahariya is known for its wine and agricultural production and great mineral source during Pharaonic times. Upon your arrival enjoy a delicious lunch before visiting the amazing places like Pyramid Mountain so named because it is shaped like a pyramid. Climb to the top for a panoramic view of the oasis and desert landscape. Walk or drive to the top of English Mountain and view the ruins of the World War I fortress used by the British soldiers during the war and watch the sunset. Stop by the Ancient Village and the Ethnic Museum then wind up your evening with dinner at the hotel and spend the night in Bahariya.

Day 04: Valley of the Golden Mummies, Zed Amun ef Ankh, Bannentiu, Ain Muftella, Temple of Alexander the Great, Black Desert, El Haiz, Crystal Mountain, Agabat and Flower Desert
Wake up to a delicious breakfast before embarking on an amazing Antiquities Tour visit the Valley of the Golden Mummies which has given notoriety to Baharia. In 1999 a large cemetery was discovered unearthing tombs with well-preserved mummies some even covered in gold; along with other beautiful artifacts, potteries, and statues. Visit the richly decorated tombs of Zed Amun ef Ankh and Bannentiu, the grand Ain Muftella Chapels and the Temple of Alexander the Great. The sandstone temple was built during Alexander’s reign of Egypt and dedicated to the gods Amun and Horus. Hop on a 4 wheel drive to the amazing White Desert as the white “sand” looks like snow transforming the hot desert landscape to one that resembles the cold Arctic. You will be impressed by the neighboring Black Desert where volcanic hills have colored the desert landscape black thus giving the desert its name. Catch your breath at El Haiz and enjoy lunch before exploring more of Bahariya. Tour the Crystal Mountain a fascinating mountain ridge that is littered by natural forming quartz crystals then go off road and explore Agabat and Flower Desert for an unforgettable experience. Camp in the desert for the remainder of the night.

Day 05: Deir El Haggar
Have a sumptuous breakfast at the campsite to jet start another day of adventure to Dakhla Oasis, which boasts over 500 hot springs a charming tourist town with modern amenities while holding on to its rich history. Visit the Deir al Haggar Temple which means Monastery of Stone this sandstone temple was built by the Roman emperor Nero and dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun-Re, Khonsu and Seth. Enjoy lunch then check into the hotel where you will spend the remainder of your day.

Day 06: Qasr El Dakhla, Beshendi and Hibis Temple
Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel then continue exploring the amazing desert landscape, drive to El Dakhla a small beautiful settlement with groves of olives, oranges, and dates as well as ancient ruins. While there tour the fortified town of Qasr Dakhla, a uniquely designed city with narrow streets and gateways. Visit Beshendi and then drive to Kharga Oasis the largest and most developed of the five western oases. While there visit the Temple of Hibis believed to be built by the Persian ruler Darius I for the fertility god Amun. The Hibis Temple contains many religious symbols, emblems, and writings. Enjoy lunch and later check into the hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 07: Bagawat and Qasr Ghuita
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel for another day of adventure visit what may be the oldest Christian Cemetery of Bagawat. The 263 tomb-chapel consists of domed mud brick mausoleums, underground galleries, chapels, columns, arches and a domed roof. Stop by the fortified town of Qasr Ghuieta located in the hills of Khagra Oasis having its own temple with Darius I and Ptolemies III, IV, and X contributing to it. The temple was dedicated to the triad Amen of Perwesekh, Mut and Khonsu. Then drive to Luxor for lunch and later check into the hotel.

Day 08: Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Colossi of Memnon, Hatshepsut Temple and Valley of Kings
Wake up to a warm Egyptian breakfast for a special visit to the breathtaking Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex built by the man covering approximately 200 acres with individual temples built for various gods. It is a massive complex of columns, statues, halls, and courts which tell a story of its former grandeur and splendor. Then tour the impressive Luxor Temple dedicated to Amun, built by two Pharaohs Amenophis III and Ramses II. Magnificent in its own right, the temple features enormous gateways, shrines, and sanctuaries. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before touring Luxor’s West Bank. Visit the Colossi of Memnon which is two huge statues around 17m high that guarded the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Explore Hatshepsut Temple the famous female Pharaoh and the Valley of the Kings which is a massive burial ground for Pharaohs, kings and the elite. Explore the tombs of world famous Pharaohs from the Old Kingdom. Enjoy dinner at the hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 09: Egyptian Museum, Khan El Khalili and Dinner Cruise
Enjoy the morning’s breakfast at the hotel before flying to Cairo, where you will tour the awe-inspiring Cairo Egyptian Museum, famous for the Golden Mask of King Tutankhamun and its many other treasures. Stop by the Khan El Khalili, a large marketplace or souk in Cairo. Purchase a wide array of exquisite, unique, rare or even unusual merchandise from spices to souvenirs. Cap your day off with an exquisite dinner cruise with belly dance show and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 10: Departure from Cairo International Airport
