All furniture is crafted in Taziry’s local workshops, showcasing authentic Berber designs and palm tree ceilings. The use of “Karshif” (mud bricks, salt, and natural elements) ensures a cool and comfortable environment without the need for air-conditioning, with windows and doors strategically placed to capture the desert breeze.
Dining at Taziry is an exceptional experience. The North African/Siwan cuisine, overseen by a Moroccan chef, is considered among the best in Egypt. The ecolodge prides itself on its organic, home-grown produce, including vegetables, fruits, oils, honey, jams, eggs, milk, meats, poultry, and fish. Whenever possible, Taziry engages in bartering with neighboring farmers to ensure a diverse menu. The drinking water, sourced from a local spring rich in minerals, is filtered and stored in pottery jars, offering guests a refreshing and healthful beverage.
The Great Sand Sea surrounding Siwa is a paradise for safari enthusiasts. Taziry collaborates with local 4×4 safari guides to organize thrilling desert excursions.
