Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to Egypt land of mystery. Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by our warm and professional airport representatives who will arrange your ground transportation to the hotel.
Meals: Dinner
Ben Ezra Synagogue, Hanging Church, Coptic Museum, Abu Serga Church and Saladin Citadel, then Fly to Luxor
Start your day off with a delicious breakfast at the hotel then go sightseeing in Old Cairo, discover the Ben Ezra synagogue, the Hanging Church with its unique design and a wooden roof that mimics Noah’s, Ark. Then tour the Coptic Museum and visit Abu Serga Church, a landmark believed to be the place where Mary & Joseph last stayed in Egypt with baby Jesus. Stop by the Citadel a magnificent structure that has acted as a fortress for Cairo against enemy attack. Enjoy Chinese cuisine for lunch and later head to the Cairo International Airport to fly to Luxor. Upon arrival to Luxor, we check in our floating hotel M/S Darakum Movenpick Nile Cruise for dinner and spend the remainder of the night.

Day 03: Visit Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple
Visit the East Bank of the Nile and stop by the breathtaking Karnak and Luxor Temples, the largest temple complex built by man. Unravel the most famous sites of Luxor’s West Bank and discover the Valley of Kings and Hatshepsut Temple of the powerful female Pharaoh. Spend the night in Luxor

Day 04: Discover Dandara and Abydos Temple
Sail north and stop by Abydos a sacred place in ancient Egyptians where you will learn its secrets. Discover the masterfully preserved temple of Dandara which was dedicated to the goddess Hathor. Overnight in Qena

Day 05: Sail to Sohag
Sail to Sohag once a major Coptic Christian Center in Egypt, relish Treasure Hunt on board. Overnight in Sohag

Day 06: Sail to Menya
Set sail on the River Nile to the town of Al Menya also known as the “Bride of Upper Egypt” located almost in the center of Egypt, the town borders both Northern and Southern Egypt. Enjoy Black and White Party on board. Overnight in Minya

Day 07: Tel el Amara, Tuna el Gabel and Ashmunein
The adventure continues with a visit to Tell el Armana with its more than 25 rock tombs. The tombs were built with complex chambers and halls to confuse robbers who may enter to plunder their treasure. Visit the magnificent monuments and join in a Treasure Hunt as you explore the ancient sites of Tuna El Gabal and Ashmunein. Overnight in Minya

Day 08: Beni Hassan and sail to Beni Suef
Visit Beni Hassan, an elaborate burial ground for high ranking officials, it features 39 tombs cut out of rocks with 4 open to visitors for exploration. Then sail to Beni Suef. Overnight in Beni Suef

Day 09: Visit Hawara and Maydom Pyramids then sail to Cairo
Stop in Fayoum and discover Hawara Pyramid and Maydom Pyramid. Then back to your Nile boat to sail to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo

Day 10: Egyptian Museum and Giza Pyramids
Explore the wonders of Egypt including the Great Pyramids of Giza (Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaura) and continue your tour to the Egyptian Museum which is famous for Tut-Ankh-Amun Golden Mask. Overnight in Cairo

Day 11: Final departure from Cairo International Airport
Enjoy the morning aboard the cruise then disembark to Cairo airport for your return flight. If you have a late departure let us know as special arrangements can be made for you.
