About The City Of Hurghada

If Alexandria is the jewel of the Mediterranean Sea, then most definitely, Hurghada is the jewel of the Red Sea. It is the largest city and the capital of the governorate of the Red Sea in Egypt which extends from Suez in the North till Halayeb and Shalateen to the South near the Sudanese borders.

Hurghada has become one of the wonderful touristic destinations in Egypt. With more than 300 hotels and touristic resorts, ranging from two to five stars, the city accommodates a large number of visitors every year.

Considered to be the city with the largest number of visiting tourists in Egypt, Hurghada is featured with its long sandy beaches, the coral reefs that can never be found all over the world, and it’s marvelous diverse nightlife.

With more than 40 kilometers stretching over the shore of the Red Sea, the city is also popular for those fond of water sports like divining, snorkeling, windsurfing, water skiing, fishing, and boating.

During the past few decades, Hurghada has also welcomed many travelers who visit the city for curative purposes. The rays of the shining sun, the soft smooth sands, and the mineral water, and the mud which is collected from mines play a major role in healing many illnesses like rheumatism and skin diseases.

Hurghada is also featured by presenting its guests with all sorts of entertainment, services, and facilities. These include shopping malls, restaurants, nightclubs, gyms, a large number of swimming pools, natural protected areas, some historical sites, and even some marine life museums.

If a tourist desires to spend his vacation enjoying the beaches of the Red Sea of Egypt and indulging himself with pleasure, the most perfect two choices would surely be Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh; as both cities have every single thing a vacationer might think of.

This is beside the beautiful sandy beaches and the crystal clear water of the Red Sea, which is always full of treasures to show to the guests of Egypt.
