About Mosque-Madrassa of Umm Sultan Sha’aban
Another mosque painted in striped red and white colors, this mosque-madrassa features an uncharacteristic design of the entrance in which a collection of muqarnas vaulting are arranged triangularly. The building is structured such that it is in alignment with the direction of Mecca, the Islamic holy land.
